It has also since been reported that law enforcement is now receiving assistance from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, who are now involved in the probe 2and looking into whether Matthew acquired any drugs through the mail.”
Following these reports, in a statement to The Independent, the Drug Enforcement Administration said, “DEA does not confirm or comment on ongoing investigations.”
Matthew Perry Passed away Back in October
Perry was best known for starring as Chandler Bing as part of the main Friends ensemble and is also recognized for starring in several feature films during the 1990s and 2000s, including the comedies Fools Rush In with Salma Hayek, 17 Again with Zac Efron, and The Whole Nine Yards alongside Bruce Willis.
His Friends co-stars Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow released a joint statement at the time, saying they were “utterly devastated” by the loss.
“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time, we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

The loss of Perry is still having a profound effect on the Friends cast, with his former co-star Courteney Cox saying recently that she still thinks of him often. Calling Perry “one of the funniest human beings in the world,” Cox revealed that she still feels his presence.
“I think he’s probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. You know, he’s just so funny. He is genuinely a huge heart, obviously struggled. I’m so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years. He visits me a lot, if we believe in that.
Oh yeah. You know, I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew – I feel like there are a lot of people that are, I think, that guide us. I do sense, yeah, I sense Matthew’s around for sure.”
