Paramount+ Sets Premiere Date for 1923, Starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren

Another generation of the Dutton family is making their way to Paramount+ this December. 1923, the anticipated Yellowstone prequel starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, will premiere on Sunday, December 18, in the U.S. and Canada and on Monday, December 19, in the UK and Australia. The renowned actors star as Jacob and Cara Dutton, and the series will center around the construction of the Yellowstone Ranch and follows the family through the end of Prohibition, the Great Depression, and, as viewers have come to expect, their own family drama.

Just yesterday, Deadline reported that a second season of 1923 was already confirmed. Both seasons will contain eight episodes. Audiences first met members of the Dutton family in Yellowstone. Led by family patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner), the series follows the conflict-filled lives of the Duttons, owners of the largest cattle ranch in Montana.
