Peacemaker Season 2 is giving DCU fans déjà vu, as one of the main stars of the HBO Max series has revealed that the finale will include some “crazy stuff” that won’t be shown to journalists. The long-awaited second season of James Gunn’s raunchy superhero series will directly follow the events of Superman.
Peacemaker star Jennifer Holland revealed to CBR that the final three episodes of Season 2 will be withheld from the press ahead of their premiere on HBO Max. Holland confirmed that “there is some crazy stuff” in episodes 6, 7, and 8, but did not elaborate or hint at what that might be. Fans are already speculating that a Superman crossover could be happening over the three-episode stretch. That speculation has some merit, especially since the Peacemaker Season 1 finale was also not shown to the press due to having a Justice League cameo. Whatever it is, it appears that Gunn is not holding back with Peacemaker being a major part of the DCU, and could be an important stepping stone moving forward.
