Warning! The following contains SPOILERS for Ahsoka: Part Six — Far, Far Away

Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger are on the run in a new clip from Ahsoka: Part Seven. Last week, Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) was finally reunited with Ezra (Eman Esfandi) in Ahsoka: Part Six — Far, Far Away. And while the reunion between these fan-favorite, Star Wars: Rebels’ mainstays was a joyous one, it seems the happiness was short-lived. In the exclusive new clip from Rotten Tomatoes, the two friends are being chased down. Check out the footage below:

Sabine, Ezra and a handful of the peaceful Noti aliens try to escape dozens of hostiles. As Ezra pilots a Landspeeder-like pod, Sabine fires her two blasters at those pursuing the Rebels’ comrades. But when one of the Noti uses a slingshot to ineffectively engage the enemy, Sabine loses her famous temper, and she barks at Ezra:

That’s charming! Any real weapons?

Ezra replies:

They’re peaceful people.

“Peaceful, fine! You didn’t mention they were defenseless!” Sabine exclaims. The 28-second sneak peek, which is titled The Chase, ends as Sabine continues to fire her blaster at the enemy who is closing in. It took six episodes for Ezra to finally be found on Ahsoka. But in order to discover his secret location, Sabine had to make a deal with the devil — or Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) to be more precise.

Fans React to Ezra and Sabine’s New Clip

Disney XD

Ahsoka: Part Six — Far, Far Away didn’t just bring Ezra Bridger (Esfandi) back into the fold. No, Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) finally shows his live-action blue face and red eyes for the first time in Star Wars, as he arrives in his Imperial Star Destroyer known throughout the galaxy as the Chimaera. The eight-episode Disney+ series is nearing its conclusion. And with only two episodes left, all hell is sure to break loose. Fans of the streaming show are also excitedly reacting to the new clip, The Chase, ahead of episode seven on Tuesday night. @TheLeatheryman writes in the video’s comments:

I love it when Sabine gets angry.

@lucaricci1987 also commented:

Just give him [Ezra] back his lightsaber, both of them are enough to take out the raiders, Ezra literally took out a walker with just the force, he could easily cause a vehicle pileup here, unless Disney did their disconnection from the force bull crap they did with Luke and Kenobi.

Ezra just showed up in Ahsoka at the conclusion of Part Six. So, the character hasn’t even had a chance to ignite a lightsaber in live-action… yet. Another YouTuber pointed out something entirely different about The Chase clip, which references the theme of the Western genre in Star Wars, which has been present in the saga since the original film debuted in 1977. @harvey2906 writes:

“It reminds me of Westerns, where the good guys are chased by the bad guys on horseback. There’s something about that. George Lucas used the samurai films for his trilogy. The authors nowadays take themselves as a model for the new series Western.”

The question now becomes: When will Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and Hera (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) join up with Sabine and Ezra to battle Thrawn? And then there’s still the consequences Sabine must face for making a deal with Baylan Skoll (Stevenson) in order to find her long-lost friend, Ezra. The seventh episode of Ahsoka streams tonight (Tuesday, September 26) on Disney+ at 9 p.m. EDT.
