To help prep for the finale, former X-Men ‘97 showrunner Beau DeMayo (who was unceremoniously fired from the series just a few weeks before the premiere), has taken to X/Twitter to reveal which episodes of the original series audiences should check out before the first season of the revival concludes.

“Finale prep recommended episodes: One Man’s Worth Pt 1 and 2, Sanctuary Pt 1 and 2, Descent, The Final Decision.”

X-Men ‘97 has been a huge hit with both critics and audiences alike, with a second season now in production and a third in early development. Co-composer Taylor Newton Stewart has teased the return, declaring that season 2 will “up the ante.”

“We’re working on season two. But we haven’t started yet. I know a little bit of the storylines and characters. It’s always upping the ante. I mean, it’s pretty intense what happens. Yeah, immediately when I was told, I was just like, ‘Oh my gosh, what’s happening? This is incredible.’ So, just as a fan alone, I am very excited.”

X-Men ’97,
Tolerance is Extinction: Part 1
