There arrived from WWE superstar Charlotte Flair a very sweet tweet, which kept everybody in the online world abuzz. Writing under the tag of an Instagram-esque account belonging to the 14-time Women’s Champion of WWE, she wrote a small note, “ps I hope YOU feel beautiful today 😘,” and attached it to a picture of herself. So…the internet had “FEELINGS” about this post.

There was an instant burst in fever pitch when the tweet started galloping through social media, amassing over 20,000 likes and hundreds of responses. Most were the outpourings of love for the Queen, with Jon saying “have a great day queen ✨,” Grace replying with “You too Queen. Have a good day 💕,” even Alyx from her end said, “thank u queen i do now,” thus proving Flair’s words carry weight.
The big trolls were obviously not feeling very charitable at the time. Somebody named RomanStains commented, “Please do us all a favor and retire with your flat ass” (yikes), while narneath advised her to, “stop the plastics.” Charlotte’s fans, however, had the ingenuity to hold up their mirrors in refusal of any shade.
Kyle’s reply to the original post was conceptually brilliant: “This message always lands. Just hope you feel that energy back too, not just today, but every day.” Deep. Really deep.
The best part being multiple fans (plural) referencing Dr. Umar in their comments (meaning more than one comment was made). For those unaware, Dr. Umar Johnson is a controversial figure that has spoken against interracial relationships. So when fans said, “Dr Umar would just have to forgive me with this SnowBunny” or “Dr Umar will have to understand”…the air quickly thickened.
Others were simply enamored with her beauty: Clara said candidly, “I don’t know about me but I feel like you’re the most beautiful woman to ever step foot on this earth,” and another fan said, “stunning 😍 wow.” You can’t really blame them; she’s genetically blessed AND the hardest worker in the business.
A little bit of wholesome wrestling nostalgia also began flowing, with Tim Curtis commenting, “Nice picture of you. You always look nice. I always enjoy watching your WWE matches. WOOO!” The energy of Ric Flair will never die.
That said, it was a classic Charlotte moment: spreading positivity and doing it flawlessly. Love her or hate her, she knows how to stir up a scene in less than 140 characters, and judging by the responses to the tweet, she indeed brightened some days.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to try and feel beautiful today, just as she advised. We might even throw in some strutting and a Woo! for good measure. When the Queen speaks, you listen.
