What we certainly learned this time around is that when it comes to grandchildren, even the toughest rappers become softies. Hence, the legend snatched the moment for a Father’s Day post that was packed with showers of love from his granddaughter, lots of handmade gifts, and plenty of undiluted, sincere love-a truly priceless treasure-and the world sits on a puddle of heartfelt tears.

The video carries this calm little young lady excitedly presenting the dad with handmade cards and drawings from her school. She says, “Happy Father’s Day, Papa’s new. I love you,” holding the cards for the camera. She drew some pictures of his cars-there were three actually-because she probably felt one drawing wouldn’t be enough to really do justice to Grandpa Snoop’s distinguished fleet. The video ends really well as she blows a kiss, marking one of the most wholesome moments of the year.
Snoop provided a simple caption to the post: “Love u frozen my g baby,” accompanied by heart and pawprint emojis-maybe a sort of pet name for his granddaughter, but this had some fans humorously debating whether he meant “frozen” or “chozen.” (Honestly; grandparents speak a language all their own when it comes to their grandkids, so we’ll give this one a pass.)
Comments? Serotonin. “Papa Snoop…Did you just melt??? She’s just darling,” gushes one user, while another commented, “You can have all the money in the world but this is beyond priceless.” And really? That’s the honest truth! Snoop, this hard guy, getting all mushy for his grandbaby-there is just something different about that.
This other comment was icing on the cake: “She got to be your favorite 😂😂😂 that’s how she really feels kids that age don’t be lying.” Considering how much Snoop was soaking up every bit of her presentation, we’d have to agree.
And then the real kicker: “Children are everything their love comes from within, we need to do better as we still can.” Deep? Definitely. Necessary? Absolutely. Especially coming at the tail end of such a pure moment.
There were also those “Wait, Snoop is REALLY a grandma?!” reactions, for the reason that it still seems so surreal to acclimate that this is that guy with ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ just enjoying his granddad life out here. (He has 10 grandkids for context, so yeah, been chillin with it for a while.)
The whole Father’s Day thing, from those homemade cards to the sweet little “I love you” and Snoop himself getting choked up over crayon drawings, was basically reminding the world that nothing could really stand in front of family love as the best flex. If that’s not resonating enough to bring a smile to the worst of faces, do yourself a favor and check if your heart is really going.

So let’s raise a toast to Snoop Dogg for yet another time ratifying that the real G’s are the ones who appreciate the small things-even if those small things consist of some scribbled cars and a few blown kisses.
