CAELA OF CAELA ESTHETICS’ SHARES HER SKINCARE PHILOSOPHY, STYLE ICONS, AND THE TREATMENTS WORTH GLOWING ABOUT

These days, more and more faces in Los Angeles have one thing in common: they’ve been touched by Caela Esthetics. Caela is building more than just a loyal following; she’s cultivating a new beauty standard rooted in intention, education, and style.

Caela Esthetics opened its doors above Melrose in 2024, but Caela has been reshaping skincare culture for over a decade. What began as a fascination with her mother’s makeup cabinet evolved into a full-fledged passion in college, prompting her to switch career paths and pursue esthetics full-time.

But results aren’t just surface-deep. Caela is vocal about skincare myths, particularly around breakouts. “People think purging means something went wrong. It doesn’t. It means the treatment is working, like being sore after a workout. I always remind clients: your skin needs time. Four to six months, sometimes. Stay the course.”

The Caela Esthetics studio is equal parts sanctuary and statement, with white linens, chilled playlists, and soft aromatherapy. She’s not trying to replicate a traditional spa or a sterile med office. “It’s not just about what happens on the table. It’s about how people feel walking in, and how they carry themselves walking out.”

That same philosophy runs through her approach to personal style. “Comfortable, chic, and classy — that’s my formula,” Caela says. Even when she’s in scrubs, she dresses the part. “I love jewelry, stacked necklaces and earrings, but since I can’t wear rings or bracelets while working, I got into hand tattoos. That’s my kind of statement piece.”

Her fashion mood board is a playful balance: Cher Horowitz from Clueless meets Rachel Green’s classic 90s minimalism. “I love putting outfits together, even for off days. I’ll literally make Pinterest boards and plan looks in a notebook. It brings me joy.”

When asked what beauty trend she’d cancel, her answer is clear: “Beef tallow as skincare. It’s clogging pores and confusing people. We need to move away from hype and lean into what actually works. I’m loving the trend of people finally seeing estheticians and building custom routines. That’s the real flex.” If you’re going to take advice from anyone online, make it a pro like Caela. She’s been using her own social platform to deliver clinical-level care straight to your feed. But nothing compares to stepping into the studio and letting Caela Esthetics do what it does best: transform your skin, and maybe even your life.

Caela’s point of view is rooted in care, but not coddling. She’ll be the first to tell you when a product’s not for you, when you’re over-exfoliating, or when your skin needs a break. But she’ll also celebrate the wins. And there are many. “The goal isn’t perfection,” she says. “It’s progress. It’s confidence.”

At Caela Esthetics, every appointment is equal parts science and self-care, with more than enough sparkle to make you want to rebook before you’ve even rinsed. Caela Esthetics is open by appointment only. Come for the glow. Stay for the reset.
