Wolk Morais Launch Cashmere Collection In Hollywood

Last night in Hollywood, Wolk Morais launched their ultra-chic new cashmere collection with a fireside dinner and cocktail party in partnership with Hendrick’s Gin at Olivetta on Melrose. Designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais (also longtime Daily columnists) united some of the top stylists in town for the intimate dinner. Guests included their friend and collaborator Elizabeth Stewart, stylists B. Akerlund, Joseph Cassell, Alexandra Mandelkorn, Cristina Ehrlich. Maryam Malakpour, Benjamin Holtrop, Jordan Grossman, Philippe Uter, along with other notables including Carlton DeWoody, George Kotsiopoulos, Sarah Harrelson, Andy Gelb, Merle Ginsberg, and Katherine Ross.

Inspired by the silver screen,  the collection’s must-have piece is a unisex double-faced cashmere, hand stitched “On Set Coat” which pays homage to their filmic inspiration, and love for Hollywood glamour. (We have this piece and it’s the first time we’ve ever wanted temperatures to drop in New York so we can wear it regularly.)

For the launch event, the designers collaborated with Hendrick’s Gin Ambassador Mattias Horseman to curate a selection of limited-edition coats that celebrate the brand’s liquid and whimsical Victorian brand world. There are deep hues of red and green to nod to the gin’s iconic infusions of rose and cucumber. The coats were gifted to all in attendance.

The collection is exclusively available at Peri.A in Beverly Hills and Aspen. It will be available online on Wolk Morais’s Instagram soon! Get it, get it, get it!
