Meek Mill’s newest track called ‘Survivors Guilt’ with G Herbo is in the limelight, with listeners analyzing every single word. The Philly rapper, on Instagram, tried to build the anticipation for the single by asking fans to share their favorite lyrics from what he called a “jawn” — that is the Philly way of saying something really dope. The responses only got hotter than the track itself.

Termed by Meek as a “2-0,” probably meaning another win on his record, the track brought out the full range of emotions. Some definitely want to see a full joint album from Meek and G Herbo. Another one said, “Meek n G Herbo collab album would be 🔥,” and honestly? That’s a pretty bad idea! They’ve got chemistry. They’ve got bars. The streets would devour that.
But those lyrics: some more heated stuff. “My dawg slimed my other dawg and expecting me to chill with him” was highlighted by a fan, saying, “That is a cold reality check on loyalty.” Another fan showed me those brutally honest lines: “Spent a hundred on a chain, he don’t even own a house / Left his mama in the hood, she ain’t even get a couch / Knowin’ he beefin’ with some ninja’s he ain’t even get her out.” That kind of sarcasm hits differently because it slides into the perspective of misplaced priorities confronting the real struggle.
Then comes the most quotable line: “Fed his hood but when he died niggas went up in his house SHIT BE CRAZY,” which really was good enough to melt fire emojis all around. That lyric was so poignant that it left listeners lost for words and not wanting to continue.
There are quite a number of haters as well. Someone said with contempt, “Your super corny but I guess ppl like corn right 🥰.” Ouch! But seriously, Meek’s been in the game for so long for him to take a hater seriously, especially when the majority are begging for more. “DROP A PROJECT TOGETHER 6-7 SONG JOINT FOR THE SUMMER,” demanded one fan, and I hope that gets a yes from all of us.
This one left the fans wondering about the harder message going down beneath. One user commented and said, “Got me thinking really deep like what this street shit really bout????” And that is the power of Meek’s music; it’s not just bangers, it’s commentary. Another fan said, “Meek the voice of the trenches, nobody took that spot … ever.”
In whatever way you want the bars, beats, or just hype from a Meek and G Herbo collab, ‘Survivors Guilt’ is bidding to become another fastest ticket in Meek’s career. The streets, judging from the response, can never say no to anything he puts out next.
