Telling it like it is in the fitness world, and so, the struggle is REAL. Tamar, a singer and reality star, took to Instagram to share an update on her workout progress, the perfect combo of inspirational and hilarious. She is training with a coach called @ktxfitness and feels wonderful about the improvement but…PAIN. Walk-edible kind of pain.

In the video, probably filmed inside a gym, she’s in white with a headband and one of those fitness machines lurking just barely in the background. Vibes: determined but burning. She gave a shout to her trainer for the protein diet (bye chips and ice cream), but confessed that, like, the first couple days at it have been just SO hard.
Thankfully, Logan is right beside her going through the same training! Tamar meanwhile had to defend her 12-year-old’s form basically telling the haters to back off: “Logan’s form will get better… he’s 12 and just needs some time.” Then she sprinkled a trash emoji just for effect.
The comments?? Pure gold! All the loyal fans plus friends chimed in with encouraging comments, especially for Logan. One reader described, “Keep going Logan!!! You got this.” Another said, “Whew Jesus deliver me from this big back immediately 😂🏋🏽♀️😩. Body sore but it’s worth it.” Then the trainer herself, the one they love, @ktxfitness, said, “I can’t lie I killed y’all today, I may have to tone it down lol 😂 NOT.”
And, of course, where does one recover from THAT soreness?! Tamar went all in for suggestions, and no one disappointed. “Epsom salt, with lavender oil and vinegar for an added kick,” was the first offer (ouch?). Another one said, “Ice bath… or creatine.” One way or another, it’s gonna be a long road to recovery for Tamar and Logan, then gains!
Somehow, it really looks like Tamar is all in on this fitness thing, and her son is just along for the ride. She promised her homage would be quite obvious soon, and judging by the whole post, she means seriously.

And, honestly, if Tamar is laughing about it all after the pain, she’s been great motivation for all of us. Protein diet, the most brutal work out ever, defending your son’s gym form? She does it while laughing, with great work ethic. Who’s going for it? Or just for an Epsom salt bath after all this thinking?
