Dogs Fight Together in the First Trailer for Scooby-Doo and Krypto, Too!

Warner Bros. Pictures is ready for its next big crossover, getting two of the most famous dogs in animation in Scooby-Doo and Krypto, Too! where Scooby-Doo, his human friends and Superman’s powerful pet will face crime together.

After several rumors indicated that the movie was going to be canceled, now the first trailer is finally out to confirm Scooby-Doo and Krypto, Too! will be available to purchase digitally on September 26 and on DVD on October 24:

Joining the famous dog from Hanna-Barbera, his friends from Mystery Inc. and Krypto, the movie will also feature appearances from Superman, Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, Mercy Graves, Joker, Harley Quinn, Solmon Grundy, and Wonder Woman.

Scooby-Doo and Krypto, Too! stars Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo and Fred Jones, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers, Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley and Grey Delisle as Daphne Blake and Wonder Woman. Joining them will be P.J. Byrne as J.B., Victoria Grace as Mercy, Charles Halford as Lex Luthor, Nolan North as the Joker and Superman, Tara Strong as Helen, Lois Lane and Harley Quinn, Fred Tatasciore as Solomon Grundy and Perry White, James Arnold Taylor as Jimmy Olsen and Rex Ruthor and Niccole Thurman as Mayor Fleming.

The story follows the Mystery Inc. gang trying to solve the mystery behind the disappearance of the Justice League with Krypto assisting them in their adventure.

Scooby-Doo Had Some Other Major Crossovers in the Past

This isn’t the first time Scooby-Doo and his friends have gotten together with some other popular characters or groups, in fact this isn’t even the first time they have been joined by DC Comics characters in their adventures. In Cartoon Feud, a special episode from Teen Titans Go!, the popular detectives competed against the young DC heroes on a Family Feud-like game show.

Batman has also crossed paths with the gang. In Scooby-Doo Meets Batman, the group ends up visiting Gotham and helps the Caped Crusader and Robin to defend the city from the Joker and The Penguin. Another dynamic duo that got the chance to hang out with Scooby were Sam and Dean Winchester. The Supernatural siblings were transformed to the animated format to have an epic adventure in a very different world.

Scooby-Doo has also teamed up with other dogs before. For example in a movie where Mystery Inc. have a case to investigate in Kansas, there they meet the famous Courage the Cowardly Dog. But there’s no doubt that when it comes to epic crossovers, the two most incredible and wild Scooby-Doo has been part of were Mystery Solvers Club State Finals and Scooby-Doo! And Kiss: Rock And Roll Mystery.

In the first one, the Mystery Inc. gang gets to solve crime along with some other iconic cartoon characters such as Speedy Bug, Jabberjaw, and Captain Caveman. In the latter, they are joined by one of the most iconic rock bands in the world, Kiss.
