‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Cast & Character Guide

Created by Mike White, Season 3 of The White Lotus is slated to make its highly-anticipated debut on February 16, 2025. The latest chapter of the dark comedy anthology will take place in Thailand, where a new crop of upscale hotel guests will convene around a mysterious death. While it’s been known for some time that actor Natasha Rothwell would reprise her role of Belinda Lindsey from season one, devoted fans are thrilled at the star-studded cast in the latest installment, and are excited to get to know their colorful characters.

The White Lotus season three boasts an international mixture of veteran character actors, quirky and offbeat comedians, and terrific dramatic performers. Given all that is known about the hit HBO anthology’s upcoming stay in Thailand, it’s time to meet the cast and characters set to star in The White Lotus season three ahead of its impending debut. And before you know it, we’ll be getting cast updates for Season 4.

Updated February 7, 2025: This cast and character guide has been updated with additional characters and information in preparation for the upcoming debut of the third season.

Natasha Rothwell

Belinda Lindsey

Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role as Belinda Lindsey in The White Lotus season three. The character was introduced in season one, which took place at a lavish White Lotus hotel in Hawaii. Belinda worked as the hotel’s underappreciated spa manager, whose kindness and attention to her guests’ needs led to a touching bond with Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge). Given Belinda’s zen-like propensity for engaging in meditative therapy, taking her business to Thailand is perfectly fitting in season three.

Rothwell is a talented actor, voice performer, and writer who began her career writing for Upright Citizens Brigade and Saturday Night Live. No stranger to HBO as well, Rothwell wrote several episodes and starred as Kelli Prennie in Insecure opposite Issa Rae. In 2023, Rothwell starred in such popular movies as Wish and Wonka, and can also be seen in everything from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Wonder Woman 1984, Love, Simon and Love, Victor, and she also created and starred in the 2024 Hulu comedy series How to Die Alone.

Jason Isaacs

Timothy Ratliff

English TV actor and movie star Jason Isaacs has been cast as wealthy and prominent businessman Timothy Ratliff, who travels to the stunning tropical oasis with his wife Victoria (Parker Posey) and their three children Saxon, Piper and Lochlan. Isaac’s exceptional ability to play villainous roles could potentially set him up as the primary antagonist in season three, though his character’s background and motives have yet to be disclosed in the lead-up to the season premiere.

It’s hard to separate Isaacs from his iconic role as the Death Eater Lucius Malfoy in the landmark Harry Potter franchise, a role he played six times in nine years. With over 150 additional credits, Isaacs also played a horrible villain in The Patriot and can be seen in such popular projects as Black Hawk Down, The Death of Stalin, Star Trek: Discovery, and Archie. The decorated actor’s most recent small screen shows include The Great, The Crowded Room, and in the Disney+ originals What If…? and Star Wars: Tales.

Leslie Bibb

Kate

American star Leslie Bibb has also been cast in The White Lotus season three as Kate, one of three longtime girlfriends who are finally reunited on a long overdue girls’ trip and find themselves staying at the lavish White Lotus resort in Thailand where a murder mystery shockingly unfolds. The magnetic 51-year-old actress also brings a wealth of comedic and dramatic experience to the table, which is where the tone of the show often stays, making her the perfect addition to its dazzling cast.

Perhaps best known for her work as Christine Everhart in the first two Iron Man movies, Bibb has also starred in everything from Crossing Jordan and Jupiter’s Legacy to Tag, The Babysitter, What If…?, American Housewife, and more. In addition to The White Lotus season three, Bibb appeared in Clint Eastwood’s critically-acclaimed legal thriller Juror #2 (which was named one of the Top 10 Films of the Year by the National Board of Review, as well as the star-studded period dramedy series Palm Royale.

Parker Posey

Victoria Ratliff

Parker Posey is sure to give a standout turn in The White Lotus season three. The queen of quirky ’90s indie movies has become known for her masterful improvisational skills, which may be featured in some capacity in the upcoming season. Given their career paths and history of making off-beat indies full of weirdness and whimsy, White and Posey are an ideal creative match, and it’s somewhat surprising they’ve never worked together before. Posey will be portraying Victoria Ratliff, Timothy’s wife and the mother of their three children.

After breaking out in the mid-90s with Party Girl, Posey gave memorable turns in such movies as Dazed and Confused, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and more. Most recently, Posey starred in The Staircase for HBO and appeared in Ari Aster’s polarizing horror-comedy Beau if Afraid. If ever there was a match made in White Lotus heaven, it’s White and Parker working together for the first time.

Walton Goggins

Rick Hatchett

Seasoned film and TV small screen star Walton Goggins will be portraying Rick Hatchett, a man traveling to Thailand with his much younger girlfriend Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) and has been described as a “rugged man with a chip on his shoulder.” Goggins called filming the highly-buzzed about third season along with its decorated cast and crew as “one of the greatest experiences of my life” and praised showrunner Mike White, telling People in 2024, “Nobody writes an existential crisis like Mike White does. And we’re all still unpacking it.”

Goggins is no stranger to serving up unforgettable performances in every dynamic project he tackles, with the charming actor enjoying a colossal year in 2024 with his fan-favorite Emmy-nominated role as The Ghoul in the smash hit apocalyptic drama series Fallout. He has also delivered memorable portrayals in acclaimed shows like The Shield, Justified, Sons of Anarchy, and The Righteous Gemstones, as well as in Quentin Tarantino’s blockbuster flicks Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight.

While filming the latest installment in Thailand, Coon teased what the theme of the season was, telling Vanity Fair: “[Creator Mike White] had a season about money; he had a season about sex. And this is his season about death.”

For years, Coon had dominated the small screen with dazzling performances in the anthology series Fargo and period drama The Gilded Age, with both shows earning the actress Primetime Emmy nominations. She also portrayed Debbie Glatzel opposite Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga in the 2021 box office horror knockout The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

Patrick Schwarzenegger

Saxton Ratliff

The son of Maria Shriver and cinema legend Arnold Schwarzenegger, Patrick Schwarzenegger is taking his blossoming career to the next level and will appear as Timothy and Victoria’s oldest child Saxton Ratliff, who works for his father’s successful company and joins his siblings and parents on vacation. Schwarzenegger gushed about working on The White Lotus in an interview with E! News in 2024: To work with Mike White and just to be part of this project was a dream come true. It was surreal, it was life-changing to learn amongst the other actors.”

After kick-starting his acting career in the 2000s and early 2010s with small supporting roles in The Benchwarmers, Grown-Ups 2, and Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and in the comedy slasher Scream Queens, Schwarzenegger landed more prominent parts in the drama miniseries’ The Long Road Home and The Staircase, while also appearing in The Terminal List, Gen V, and American Sports Story. Manobal is perhaps best known for being a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink since 2016, with the sensational musical act having sold 20 million records worldwide while racking up 40 billion streams and becoming one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. She is set to release her solo debut album Alter Ego under her stage name Lisa on February 28, 2025, hot on the heels of the premiere of season three of The White Lotus.

Nivola is the son of actors Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola, with the 21-year-old having first made his acting debut in 2013 in an episode of the British comedy Doll & Em before taking an 8-year hiatus from the profession. Dom Hetrakul

Character Name Unknown

HBO

Thai actor Dom Hetrakul has been cast in The White Lotus season three. Hetrakul began his career in 1998 and made several feature films before transitioning to television in 2013.
