Big Brother Spoilers: Is the House About to Flip the Vote?

Big Brother Spoilers: Is the House About to Flip the Vote?

Things change every minute in the Big Brother house.

Even with a target in place, there is rarely a week when the houseguests don’t start thinking about flipping the vote. They don’t call it Waffle Wednesday for nothing!

So far in the Big Brother 28 house, Drew has been the target all along, but the Survivor vets have finally woken up!

Dee & Devens Get Active

Here’s the thing: getting rid of Drew was never the right game move for Dee and Devens—especially the latter.

Drew has been nothing but painfully loyal to Devens, and considering he still unquestioningly trusts him, it makes zero sense for Devens to want him out at this point in the game.

Drew is a messy gameplayer, but no messier than almost everyone else in that house.

However, Angela and Dee have been wary of him for weeks now.

Once the idea that Drew couldn’t be trusted got into Angela’s head, she couldn’t give up that belief, and it spread to Dee and Devens, who were the main ones pushing Drew as the target this week.

But Tuesday brought a change of heart, with both Dee and Devens talking about saving Drew and not wanting to do what the Red Corner wanted.

Small problem with that: THEY WERE THE ONES PUSHING FOR DREW TO BE NOMINATED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Devens floated the idea of flipping the vote from Drew to Melody when talking with Yash, who wanted no part of it.

And when Angela got wind of the plan, she was on board at first before a later conversation with Dee and Devens brought everything crashing down.

It’s likely too late for the icons to flip the house back to Drew’s side after putting in all the work to paint him as persona non grata, so where does that leave us?

Melody vs. Lyric Is a Toss-Up

If Drew is sitting on the block come Thursday beside Melody or Lyric, he’s likely going home.

There would have to be some serious maneuvering over the next 48 hours to get the house to save him.

Never say never in Big Brother, but if that were to happen, someone would have to put in some serious work, and it could come back to bite them.

If Melody and Lyric are on the block looking up at Julie Chen-Moonves, well, things get a lot more interesting.

Earlier in the week, Melody was going home, and it was a relative no-brainer, but Lyric has not been having a good week.

From throwing her allies under the bus repeatedly to getting on Kamu’s bad side, there is a very real chance that Lyric could be the one walking out those doors to reunite with Rome.

Some houseguests, like Devens, see that splitting up Drew and Melody needs to happen, but there is a loud majority, namely Kamu, who is leading the effort to get rid of Lyric.

Kamu’s argument is that Lyric is more popular than Melody and more competitive, but the pushback from those, like Yash, who want to keep Lyric is that she’s someone they can use as a number.

It’s currently up in the air who would go between the two, so expect a lot of talking over the next two days!

Could This Be the Vote That Breaks the Pattern?

There is nothing more boring than everyone voting with the house, and unfortunately, that will likely be the case if Drew is still on the block after the blockbuster is played.

But if we do get Melody and Lyric, this may be the first time people vote in their best interest and not to stay “on the right side of the house.”

Players like Lala and Taylor aren’t aligned with either player, so it may be about voting with the majority for them, but Drew will want to keep Melody, while Kamu wants Lyric out.

It would be nice to see players fight for their games and not care about what everyone else is doing, as we’re no longer in the beginning stages of the game.

Not everyone can win, and it’s high time these houseguests start voting in their best interests sooner rather than later.

Do you guys agree with this sort of last-minute plan to save Drew?

If it’s Melody and Lyric on the block, who should go home?
