Brilliant Minds Reconciling Oliver & Josh During Pride Month Couldn’t Be More Perfect

Oliver Wolf and Josh Nichols are finding their way back to each other, and we couldn’t be more delighted.

The two are a popular pairing on Brilliant Minds, but they’ve spent most of this season apart, leaving fans disgruntled.

We finally got the story we deserved this June as Oliver and Josh re-explored their feelings and their dreams, and Pride Month was the perfect time for this arc.

I’ve loved the medical mysteries they’ve had together, and Brilliant Minds devoting so much time to restating them has been great.

Brilliant Minds Season 2 hasn’t felt the same without our favorite dating docs.

While I enjoyed that the two eventually formed a strong, supportive friendship, it still felt distant, like they were holding back.

Most of that was on Josh’s part, mainly because he feared Oliver would leave again if his life became too chaotic, and he watched Oliver’s life fall apart again.

It’s probably why he didn’t want to get involved initially and chose to date Beau, who was steady and safe.

I missed when Oliver and Josh would do anything for each other in Brilliant Minds Season 1.

It was a relief that Josh was only a call away and came to Oliver’s rescue when he needed him in Hudson Oaks.

They may have been on a break, but their connection was still strong.

We Never Would Have Expected Their Feelings to Resurface During Pride Month

Initially, I would have thought Oliver and Josh would’ve reunited much earlier, but the final episodes of Brilliant Minds were pushed back to the end of May.

These two have been adorably cute and awkward around each other, flirting and sharing a deep connection.

I appreciated that we’ve seen much more of Josh’s POV these last few installments, since much of Brilliant Minds focuses on Oliver’s viewpoints.

Josh was there for Oliver, recognized that Oliver needed help, and chastised the medical board for even thinking of letting him go when he actually thought of himself and got help.

Josh finally realized that while Beau might be the safe choice, he missed Oliver.

Even Beau knew that Josh wanted a family, but Josh might have been uncertain about who he wanted in his future.

It’s why it was so cute when Oliver invited Josh over to a dinner party, and the two shared an illuminating conversation while they washed the dishes afterward.

I love that Brilliant Minds learned how important these two are to us and is taking baby steps to reunite them.

There are only two episodes left before the series finale, and I’m fairly sure that these two will end up together.

It would have been nice to have had more time with them, happy together, but I appreciate that they both realized how much they wanted each other.

How cute was Josh, staring at Oliver while holding that baby girl? Those two would make the best dads.
