Big Brother: Who’s Most Likely to Be Evicted This Week?

Big Brother: Who’s Most Likely to Be Evicted This Week?

We’re already approaching the first eviction of the season, and with three nominees on the block and the BB Blockbuster still to come, it’s hard to predict who might go home.

Why? Because you don’t know which two houseguests will ultimately be on the block when it’s time to vote. Will that stop us from predicting?

Absolutely not! Part of the fun of Big Brother is making predictions and seeing whether they come true.

As the first HOH, Dee has had the unfortunate task of nominating four players by the time her reign ends, which is never a fun thing for houseguests.

Getting blood on your hands with two nominees is bad enough, but when that number grows to four, you’ve suddenly got a pretty large percentage of the house displeased with you.

After Mallory took herself off the block, Dee put Ashley on the block, which had been brewing all weekend.

If you watched the feeds, you know some other names were pitched to Dee in the lead-up to the nominations, like Rome making a last-ditch effort to get Haley up there, but Dee stuck with her original plan in the end.

With Yash, Taylor, and now Ashley on the block, the houseguests have an opportunity to make a splash at the first eviction ceremony. But who’s the right choice?

What Are The Houseguests Currently Thinking?

After the Power of Veto ceremony, the house has been lying pretty low, though there have been some game conversations on the feeds.

Yash seems to be the name most often thrown around as the target, with Dee also being upfront with several houseguests that he’s the one she’d like to see leave on Thursday.

But with the blockbuster looming, conversations are still taking place, with Lyric and Melody discussing keeping Taylor, while Barrett told Drew he’d also want Taylor to stay.

Yash and Ashley don’t seem to have as much vocal support on the feeds today, but it’s only Monday, and the campaigning and game conversations will start to ramp up the closer we get to Thursday night.

Ultimately, in week one, you can tell that not many houseguests want to rock the boat. And Yash’s name is consistently being put out there as the move IF he doesn’t win the Blockbuster.

Who Should Go Home?

There are a lot of houseguests gaming this season, though I wouldn’t necessarily say that the gaming has been overwhelming.

Alliances are being formed, game conversations are happening, but they are still very much in the early bubble of the game, where you’re more likely to see houseguests gossiping about one another or watching Lyric and Rome make googly eyes than having super-serious game chats.

Of the three nominees, Taylor has seemingly been the most vocal, talking to others and beginning to campaign.

And while she’s been told by several people that they will vote to keep her, we all know that you have to take everything you’re told in there with a grain of salt.

Yash has also had conversations. His pitch to Devens revolves around the idea that it will set a bad precedent in the game if competitive guys are on the block.

That is certainly a perspective, but I don’t know how much it will sway anyone.

Ashley has only been on the block for a few hours as of this run date, so her campaigning hasn’t really begun. To this point, she doesn’t seem to have a strong foothold in the game, nor does anyone publicly seem to be pushing to keep her.

Of the three, getting out a potential physical and social threat in Yash would be the right move for most of the houseguests, and it’s the most popular option.

To be honest, this isn’t the kind of week where everyone is completely aligned, but Yash is definitely the consensus pick.

Unless he gives the pitch of his life over the next few days or wins the Blockbuster, it’s probably a safe bet that Yash is our first evicted houseguest of the season.

Who do you guys think will be leaving this week and the first Big Brother 28 evicted houseguest?
